I took all of these photos in Apple Valley a little before noon. It was interesting to put the photos together to create the story in the end. The first photo in the Diptych is a boxer named Dude and him peering off the side of a mountain. The second image is a bird perched on a rock. The triptych is images of a trail, shotgun shells, and a Joshua tree.
